Pavement Poetry – part 3

Faulks’s coal-hole cover cocks a snook at the less fortunate denizens of nearby Shepherd’s Bush. He has written: “A word in your eye
Don’t worry or push
A step in the Gate
Is worth two in the Bush.”
2004 – Sebastian Faulks.
